SIG Sauer P220 X-Six Black & White
A German-made SIG Sauer P220 X-Six Black & White from the Mastershop, chambered in 9mm, with a 6" barrel and a single-action-only trigger. Comes with its original box, hard case, spare magazines, and a signed factory test target.
The X-Six is what you get when SIG's German custom shop takes the P220 and builds it for one job: hitting the X-ring. This Black & White example came from the Mastershop in Germany. It's chambered in 9mm and set up as a single-action-only target pistol.
The P220 dates to 1975. It was SIG's first big success, adopted by the Swiss army and by police and military users around the world. The X-Six keeps that proven design and adds a long 153 mm barrel, an extended dust cover with an accessory rail, and a slide finished with real care. On this one, the slide is coated black and its flats are cut back to bright, brushed steel. Slanted cuts at the front and rear break up the lines and give the gun its two-tone look. It's even sharper in person.
The details hold up up close. The hammer, trigger, slide catch, takedown lever, and magazine release are all polished bright. The trigger is skeletonized and adjustable, and the rear sight is a micrometer target unit that adjusts for windage and elevation. Checkered black wood grips carry the SIG logo, and the magazines ride on machined aluminum base pads that fill out the bottom of the grip.
Why does this one matter? SIG Sauer shut down production at its German plant in 2020, and the Mastershop closed with it. New X-Six pistols marked Made in Germany aren't being built anymore, and serious sport shooters tend to hang on to the ones they have.
This pistol comes complete. You get the original labeled carton, the SIG hard case, the X-Series manual, a tube of SIG lubricant, extra magazines, and the factory test target. The factory shot and signed the target at 25 meters. Collectors value that kind of paperwork because it ties the gun straight back to the bench where it was test-fired.
It's a match gun with real pedigree. Shoot it or keep it in the safe. Either way, you won't find many more like it."
