Consignment & Trade-In
Yes. We actively seek exceptional pieces for our consignment program. We specialize in production and custom pistols from the brands we carry, though we occasionally make exceptions for historically significant or particularly rare revolvers and pistols from other makers. The consignment process begins with reaching out to us and sending photos and information about your collection or piece. We will respond within a few business days to discuss your collection.
We specialize in high-end, collectible firearms, rare, vintage, custom, historically significant, and exceptional production and custom pistols. We do not buy or consign everyday production guns. If you own a piece that is unusual, scarce, or special in some way, we would be glad to take a look and let you know whether it is a good fit.
Consignment means we sell your firearm on your behalf while you retain ownership until it sells. You tell us about the piece; we assess its market value and agree on terms with you in writing; then we photograph, list, and market it to our audience of serious collectors. When it sells, we handle the FFL transfer and background check, and you receive the final sale price minus our commission.
For curated collections, we generally work with collections valued at $250,000 or more. For exceptional individual pieces, we evaluate on a case-by-case basis. If it is something we are interested in, we will work with you regardless of a fixed threshold. The best way to find out is to reach out and tell us what you have.
There are no listing fees. Our commission is earned only when your piece sells, and it is deducted from the final sale price. We will walk you through the exact commission and all terms in a written agreement before anything moves forward. For specifics on your piece, contact our team, and we will be glad to discuss.
Possibly. We may purchase a piece directly, subject to our assessment and a mutual agreement on price. As with consignment, we focus on collectible and rare firearms rather than everyday items. Select “Sell a Firearm Outright” on the inquiry form, or contact us directly, and we will respond promptly about whether it is a fit and what we can offer.
Our team evaluates condition, rarity, desirability, provenance, and current market conditions for comparable pieces. Clear photographs and any documentation, history, or original accessories you can provide help us provide a more accurate, faster assessment. And depending on your collection, we might need to examine it in person.
Timelines vary with the piece, its rarity, and current collector demand. Exceptional firearms are marketed to the right audience until the right buyer is found. We will discuss expected timing and the consignment period with you when we agree on terms.
After your piece sells and the transaction clears, we remit your proceeds, the final sale price minus our agreed commission, according to the terms of your consignment agreement.
Once terms are set, we coordinate a secure transfer to us through licensed FFL dealers, direct shipment (with provided shipping instructions), or direct pickup, in full compliance with federal, state, and local laws. We handle the logistics so you do not have to navigate them on your own.
Yes. We regularly work with collectors and estates and welcome curated collections valued at $250,000 or more, as well as exceptional individual pieces on a case-by-case basis. If you are handling an estate, contact us, and we will guide you through the process.
