A fully reworked Colt Combat Commander in .45 ACP, hand-built by Chuck Rogers of Rogers Precision. Features the signature golfball texturing, Bobnose package, Kart match barrel, and a signed two-page build sheet.
Chuck Rogers signs his work, and that signature sits at the bottom of the build sheet that comes with this Colt Combat Commander. Two laminated pages, dated and initialed by Rogers himself, walk through every cut, fit, and part swap that went into the gun. That document is half the value here. The other half is the pistol it describes.
The foundation is a Colt Combat Commander in .45 ACP, the steel-frame 4.25 inch 1911 that Colt built its reputation on. From there the work runs deep. Rogers laser-welded the frame rails and refit the slide to match-grade tolerances, then dropped in a Kart match barrel with an EGW link, match bushing, and a polished, throated feed ramp. The Bobnose package reshapes the bushing and recoil system, capped with a golfballed recoil spring plug.
That golfball texture is the Rogers calling card. You see it on the front strap, the mainspring housing, the trigger face, the thumb safety pads, the slide stop, even the top of the slide where a double arrowhead pattern breaks up the flat. The slide also carries press-check panels, ball cuts, small French borders, and re-engraved rollmarks. Up front sits a Rogers Whiteball front sight blended full width, with a Tier One rear cut to a .140 U-notch.
The fire control is a who's-who of premium parts. EGW sear, ball-head disconnector, and firing pin stop. Two Wilson Bulletproof extractors. Wilson Concealment hammer and grip safety. A Rogers semi-flat trigger broken to 3.75 pounds. Brown's bobtail mainspring housing wraps the grip into the frame for a carry-friendly heel.
Finish is a two-tone Parkerize and Cerakote treatment, paired with Rogers logo grips over a biohazard motif. Three matching magazines ship with it. This is a working custom from one of the most respected 1911 smiths in the country, not a safe queen.
