A hand-fitted Korth PRS 1911 in .45 ACP with a 5-inch barrel and full accessory rail. Finished in matte satin stainless with Korth's signature dimpled slide and grip texturing.
Look past the 1911 silhouette and you start to see what makes this Korth PRS different from anything else built on Browning's old pattern. The whole gun is cut from a different language. Those golf-ball dimple panels on the slide flats and the deep dish reliefs on the grips are not borrowed from anyone, and the recessed dot texturing flows from slide to frame in a way that reads as one continuous piece rather than parts bolted together.
This one wears the matte satin stainless finish, with the Korth name rolled into the slide and Waffenfabrik Korth Germany engraved along the dust cover. The frame integrates a full accessory rail under the muzzle, and the front end uses Korth's distinctive bull barrel and bushing arrangement with the captured spring system you can see at the muzzle. Twin set screws sit at the dust cover face. Up top there is a fully adjustable LPA rear paired with a serrated front, the kind of sight setup a shooter actually wants on a competition gun.
The build sheet on these matters. Every PRS is hand fitted and signed off by a Korth gunsmith, and the tag in the case records the maker's initials and the approval. The frame carries a flat trigger, an extended beavertail with a memory bump, a skeletonized hammer, and a deeply undercut trigger guard. Frontstrap and mainspring housing both wear aggressive checkering. The grips run a blued anodized tone that plays against the satin frame.
Chambered in .45 ACP and feeding from a single stack magazine, it runs the 5 inch barrel that gives the platform its balance. Korth's PRS line never came to the States in volume, and the all stainless dimpled treatment is one of the harder configurations to track down. If you collect 1911s and want one that nobody else at the range will recognize, this is the one to reach for.
