A low-production Korth semi-automatic pistol in the gray Plasma Finish, configured as a dual-caliber set. Chambered in 9mm Para with a factory-matched 7.65mm Para conversion barrel and recoil assembly, cased with both magazines.
Korth built its name on revolvers, so a Korth semi-automatic already turns heads before you get to the details. This one is set up as a dual-caliber rig. The pistol wears the gray Plasma Finish and carries its primary 9mm Parabellum slide, with a complete 7.65mm Para top-end and recoil assembly waiting in the case alongside it. Swap the barrel and recoil system, change magazines, and the same frame runs two calibers.
That alone puts it in rare company. The Korth semi-auto saw very low production out of Ratzeburg, and a factory-matched dual-caliber set is something most collectors only read about.
The slide is marked 9mm PARA on the right flank, with the Korth bird logo forward on the left. Look at the frame markings and you'll find MADE IN GERMANY and WAFFENFABRIK KORTH RATZEBURG cut cleanly into the steel. The spare barrel assembly is stamped 7,65 PARA, so there's no guessing which caliber it serves.
The Plasma Finish reads as a soft, even gray that shifts under light without the glare of polished stainless or the depth of deep bluing. It sits well against the walnut. Speaking of which, the grips are full-coverage target panels in checkered walnut with an oil finish, shaped with a palm swell and a shelf that fills the hand. The slide serrations are cut wide and shallow at the rear, and the front sight rides on a tall post with an adjustable target rear behind it.
The set is cased in the original Korth box with red foam fitted for the pistol, both magazines, and the spare 7.65mm assembly. The factory Korth literature is present as well.
For a buyer who already runs Korth revolvers, this is the other side of the bench. A semi-auto from a maker that barely made them, finished in Plasma gray, and able to run two calibers off one frame. You don't get many chances at one.
