A Ratzeburg-era Korth Luxury-grade revolver with gold game-scene and oak leaf inlay over a deep high-polish blue. Includes both .357 Magnum and 9mm exchange cylinders in a fitted wooden case.
Look closely at the frame just behind the cylinder and you'll find a mounted hunter on horseback rendered in gold, lance in hand, a stag breaking ahead of him. That game-scene inlay tells you this is no ordinary Korth. It's a Luxury-grade gun out of Willi Korth's Ratzeburg shop, and the level of hand work on it puts it in company very few revolvers reach.
The oak leaf engraving covers the frame in deep relief, framing a gold Korth medallion crest encircled by an oak wreath. The barrel and cylinder carry flowing gold-leaf scrollwork that runs the length of each flute, and the barrel wears the .357 Magnum caliber legend in gold against the deep blue. That blue is the real foundation here. It's a high-polish charcoal finish that reads almost black until the light hits it, and then every gold line lifts off the steel.
This one feeds two ways. It ships with the standard .357 Magnum cylinder fitted and a matching 9mm Parabellum exchange cylinder, each finely engraved and gold accented to match the gun. Swapping between them is the work of a moment, and it doubles what the revolver can do without touching its presentation grade looks.
The 4 inch barrel sits where a working Korth feels best, balanced and quick in the hand. Up top you get the adjustable target rear sight Korth was known for, paired with the precise lockwork that built the company's name. The grips are checkered European walnut, hand-shaped to fill the palm and warm against all that polished steel.
It comes in its fitted wooden Korth case with the manual. For a collector chasing the Ratzeburg years, a dual-caliber Luxury gun with the stag scene is the kind of piece you wait a long time to see come up.
