Korth PRS 6 Inch Stainless and Black

Korth built its reputation on revolvers that cost as much as a used car and earned every cent. The PRS is what happens when that same shop turns its attention to the 1911 platform, and this 6 inch example wears the two-tone treatment that shows off the work best. The slide is left in raw stainless, machined with that distinctive raised bead texturing on the forward and rear panels, while the frame, controls, and barrel weight sit in deep black DLC. The contrast is sharp without trying to be loud.

That barrel weight up front is the detail worth pausing on. It bolts to the dust cover and extends the sight radius while pulling the balance forward, the kind of setup competition shooters chase and most factories never bother with. The slide carries the Korth name across the flat, with Waffenfabrik Korth Germany rolled into the frame and CIP proof marks confirming its German origin.

The grips are aluminum, dimpled in a honeycomb pattern with a polished blue cast that plays against the black frame and silver slide. Up top you get a fully adjustable LPA rear sight paired with a low-profile front. The trigger is skeletonized, the hammer is a competition piece, and the magazine well is beveled for fast reloads. Every component came together as a single factory-fitted unit.

Chambered in .45 ACP, it ships in the fitted Korth wood presentation case with the factory build tag signed by the gunsmith and the approving inspector. The case also holds the barrel weight tools, hex wrenches, and the LPA sight tool. For a collector who wants a 1911 that nobody else at the range will be carrying, this is the one.
