A Korth Classic revolver in .44 Magnum, hand engraved in gold relief by The House of Mueller Murgenthal. Finished in deep fire blue with ivory toned grips and a 6 inch full lug barrel.
Korth builds some of the most precisely fitted revolvers on earth, and then The House of Mueller Murgenthal took one and turned it into something closer to jewelry. That's the story here. A standard Korth Classic is already a serious collector gun. This one wears gold relief engraving, polished ivory grips, and a deep blue finish that runs from the muzzle crown to the hammer, all done under the eye of master craftsman Vivian Mueller at the Swiss atelier.
Start with the metal. The frame and barrel carry a high gloss blue that shifts toward black in low light, with the famous Korth fire blue accents on the screws, trigger, hammer, and pins. Those bright peacock tones against the dark blue are the kind of thing only proper heat bluing gives you. The full lug barrel runs 6 inches and shows the spectral coloring along the vent rib that comes from the bluing process. Korth Germany and Waffenfabrik markings sit clean on the frame, with the .44 Rem. Mag. caliber stamp along the barrel.
The grips are where Mueller's hand really shows. Smooth ivory toned panels, each capped top and bottom with raised gold scrollwork cut in deep relief. A muzzle crown finished in matching gold scroll, complete with a gold front sight bead, ties the whole thing together. The Korth gold medallion sits inset on the frame, and a red sighting accent caps the rear of the topstrap.
This is a six shot double action chambered in .44 Magnum, built on Korth's adjustable target action with a fully adjustable rear sight. Every internal part is hand fitted, which is what you pay for with this maker.
It comes in the factory Korth wood presentation case. For the collector who already has the German engineering covered and wants the artistry layered on top, this is one of the final pieces finished under Mueller's direct supervision. You will not see another configured quite like it.
