Korth Classic revolver with a 6 inch barrel in .357 Magnum. Finished in iridescent Blue Plasma with gold accents and smooth white grips.
Most Korth revolvers earn their reputation through what you can't see. The hand-fitted lockwork, the cylinder that swings out on a bank-vault hinge, the trigger that breaks like a glass rod. This Classic 6" carries all of that, then wraps it in a finish that does the opposite. It demands you look.
The Blue Plasma treatment runs across the frame, barrel, and fluted cylinder, shifting from deep cobalt through violet and into amber as the light moves. It isn't paint and it isn't a coating. It's a controlled oxide layer that lives in the steel itself, which is why the color seems to sit beneath the surface rather than on top of it. The vent-rib barrel catches it best, the flutes pulling the spectrum into long vertical bands.
Korth set the contrast with gold. The trigger, hammer, ejector rod, and the small pins and screws all wear it, warm against the cool plasma tones. The grips are smooth white, sculpted in the target profile Korth shooters favor, and one panel carries a Jim Wilson signature alongside the Korth script. That name ties the gun to the well-known American shooting writer and lawman, a detail that gives this build a documented hand behind it.
The mechanics are pure Korth Classic. Chambered in .357 Magnum, six rounds, with the roller-detent cylinder lockup and a Patridge-style adjustable rear sight matched to a gold bead front. The barrel reads Korth Germany Waffenfabrik, and the cylinder face is stamped .357 Mag with the CIP proof. Numbered components match throughout.
This is a low-production gun to begin with. Korth builds a few hundred revolvers a year, and the Plasma finishes account for a fraction of those. Add the signature grips and you have a piece that won't have a twin at the next show. For a collector who already owns the blued and stainless Korths, this is the one that closes the case.
