The engraving runs deep. Roughly three quarters of the revolver wears floral scrollwork cut over a fine punch-dot background, the kind of coverage that crowds the frame, barrel, cylinder, and grip straps without tipping into clutter. There's a star motif worked into the cylinder flutes too. The bright nickel finish throws light off every cut, and the scroll reads cleanly because the polish underneath it is honest. You also get a set of smooth ivory grips, full and pale, that sit right against all that shine.

The barrel measures 5.5 inches, the length that balances the SAA best, and the markings confirm it as a genuine Hartford gun chambered in .45 Colt. Patent dates and the Colt's PT.F.A. MFG. Co. address are stamped clean. The four click cock works just as it should, and the bore is bright.
