A SIG Sauer P226 X-Six Black Skeleton in 9mm, built single action only with a six inch skeletonized slide. Includes the factory tungsten frame weight for competition balance.
Look at the muzzle end of this X-Six and you'll see exactly where the name comes from. SIG's German custom shop cut the slide and frame open at the dust cover, exposing the recoil spring and guide rod in a way no standard P226 ever shows. It's a competition pistol built around a single idea: get the weight where it helps and take it away where it doesn't. The skeletonized work isn't cosmetic. It's part of how this gun balances.
This is the long-slide six inch variant, built single action only, and it wears the worn black finish that SIG calls Black Skeleton. The slide carries fine horizontal serrations along its length with deeper grasping cuts at front and rear, and the X-SIX logo sits cleanly engraved on the flat. Up top is an adjustable target rear paired with a fiber optic front, the setup serious bullseye and IPSC shooters reach for first.
The laminate target grips deserve a slow look. They're cut with palm swells, a checkered thumb rest, and that signature SIG ergonomic profile that fills the hand and locks the wrist. An adjustable trigger stop sits ahead of the SAO trigger, and the beavertail is shaped for a high, hard grip.
Then there's the factory tungsten weight. It mounts under the dust cover on the accessory rail and adds mass right at the front of the gun. And that matters because it flattens muzzle rise and steadies the sights between shots. You can run the pistol with it on for competition or pull it off for a lighter carry feel.
This is a hand-fitted product of SIG's Eckernförde workshop, not a production-line gun. For the shooter who wants a 9mm built for the timer and the X-ring, this one arrives ready to work.
