A SIG Sauer P226 X-Five Tactical in Flat Dark Earth with an uncommon two-tone brushed stainless slide. German-made in 9mm with a threaded barrel and adjustable target sights.
Most P226 X-Five Tactical pistols leave the German shop wearing a single monochromatic coat. This one doesn't. Look at the slide and you'll see brushed stainless flats breaking through the Flat Dark Earth, a two-tone treatment that turns the polished sides of the slide into a mirror against the matte earth tone everywhere else. It's a configuration you rarely come across on the Tactical, and it changes how the whole pistol reads.
The bones are pure X-Five. A long slide, extended dust cover, and full accessory rail give it that front-heavy, deliberate balance the competition crowd chases. The threaded barrel wears a knurled steel protector and stands ready for a can or compensator. Up top sit adjustable target sights, with the X-FIVE logo cut into the slide flat where the FDE meets bare metal. The single-action trigger and beavertail frame come straight from the target side of the X-Series catalog.
Grips are coyote polymer with aggressive stippling and the SIGSAUER name molded into both panels. The frame carries a full dust cover rail, German proof marks, and the Newington NH and Made in Germany rollmarks that confirm where it was built and imported. Light cosmetic handling marks show on the brushed slide flats, the kind of honest wear that comes from a slide that's been cycled and admired rather than babied behind glass.
The package is complete and untouched. It ships in the factory SIG hard case with the original test target signed by A. Koch, the X-Series operating manual, spare magazine, cleaning tools, and factory paperwork. For a collector who wants an X-Five Tactical that doesn't look like every other one, the two-tone slide is the detail that earns the second look. Chambered in 9mm, German-built, and dressed in a finish combination SIG didn't make many of.
