A German Mastershop-built P226 X-Five Supermatch in 9mm with a single action only trigger and a skeletonized stainless slide. Includes its original factory box, manual, and Mastershop test target.
Look at the muzzle end of this X-Five and you start to understand what the German Mastershop was after. The slide is cut open along its forward third, lightening ports milled in a row right down to the crowned barrel poking through. That skeletonized work isn't just for looks. It pulls reciprocating mass off the front of the gun, which is exactly what a competition shooter wants when chasing a flat, fast cycle.
This is the Supermatch build, the top of the X-Five tree, hand assembled at SIG's Eckernfoerde shop in Germany. The single action only trigger is the heart of it. You get a short, clean break and a positive reset that bullseye and action shooters tune their whole technique around. The frame is full-size stainless with a beavertail grip safety and an extended single-sided thumb safety, and the whole pistol wears a brushed natural stainless finish that catches light along every flat.
The grips are the detail people miss at a glance. They're aggressive G10 panels with a stippled snake-scale texture and an X motif cut into the surface, paired with a checkered front strap and a flared aluminum magwell at the base. Hold it and the gun locks into your hand. The slide carries the X-FIVE billboard on the side and the SIG SAUER address up front, with a fully adjustable target rear sight and a fiber-style front blade for a fast sight picture.
Up top the slide shows fine straight serrations front and rear, and the controls run in black against the bright frame. It feeds 9mm from a single-stack steel magazine that drops free through that funnel.
This one ships with its original factory box, the manual, and the factory test target shot at the Mastershop before it left Germany. That target is the part collectors care about. It's the shop's own proof of what this barrel will do, and it travels with the gun. For a competition SIG built the way the Germans build them, this is the high end of the line.
