A German-built P226 X-Five Supermatch in 9mm, configured as a single-action competition pistol. Brushed stainless slide, adjustable target sights, flat trigger, and figured G10 grips.
Look past the silhouette and this reads as a P226, but almost nothing about it carries over from the duty gun. This is the X-Five Supermatch, built in Eckernförde, Germany by SIG's custom shop and finished out as a single-action competition pistol. The slide wears a brushed natural stainless that catches light along the flats, with the X-FIVE logo cut into the side and SIGSAUER pressed low near the muzzle. Fit and finish on these is a step above the standard line, and you can feel it in the way the slide rides the rails.
The 5 inch barrel sits in a full-length frame with an integral accessory rail up front. Up top you get a target-grade adjustable rear sight paired with a fiber-style front, the kind of setup that lets you dial elevation and windage down to the click. The beavertail is extended, the hammer is skeletonized, and the trigger is a flat-faced single-action unit with an adjustable stop. That's the heart of the gun. The trigger is what people buy these for.
Grips are the real signature here. These are figured black and gray G10 panels with a deeply cut topographic-style texture, aggressive enough to lock in under recoil without chewing up your hand. The grip frame carries front-strap checkering and a flared magwell with a contrasting stainless base, all of it pointing toward fast reloads on the clock.
Worth noting: this one comes as SIG shipped it. The hard case holds the X-Series manual, the factory cleaning rod and SIG-branded lubricant, spare parts in the original bag, and the extra magazine basepad.
For a shooter who wants a 9mm that breaks cleanly and tracks flat, or a SIG collector chasing the German custom shop work, this Supermatch covers both. It's a working precision pistol that happens to look the part sitting in a case.
