A rimfire variant of the Swiss P210, chambered in .22 LR for training and target shooting. Features a deep blued finish, target wood grips, and the original SIG box.
Most P210 conversations start and end with the 9mm service guns. This one rewrites that conversation. It's the P210-7, the dedicated .22 LR member of the family, and it carries the slide marking to prove it. Look along the left side and you'll read Cal. 22 lg. rf. stamped clean into the steel. That single line is the whole story. SIG built these rimfire guns in far smaller numbers than the centerfire variants, and they rarely surface in this kind of shape.
The layout is pure P210. You get the slide-inside-frame rails that gave the platform its reputation for accuracy, a fixed barrel, and the heel-mounted magazine release at the base of the grip. The safety sits on the left with the S and F markings, the F picked out in red. That's the detail collectors look for on Swiss commercial guns. The bluing runs deep and even across the slide and frame, with the kind of soft polish that catches light along the flats. High edges show light handling wear, nothing that breaks the finish.
The grips are checkered hardwood with a smooth crown at the top, fitted to the larger target-style frame. There's an adjustable rear sight paired with a blade front, set up for serious paper work rather than carry. And that matters because the .22 chambering was always about training and competition. Soft recoil, cheap ammunition, the same trigger geometry and balance as the service guns. A shooter could run drills all day and carry the muscle memory straight over to a 9mm P210.
The pistol comes with its blue SIG factory box. For anyone building a complete P210 family or chasing the rimfire variant on its own merits, this is the one that fills the hardest slot. Found in this condition, it doesn't come around often.
