A SIG P210-5 LS target pistol in 9mm with the rare heavy frame slide marking. Swiss-made with longslide, adjustable target sights, and wraparound walnut grips.
The slide on this one tells you what it is before you ever pick it up. Just behind the cocking serrations, cut clean into the metal, it reads heavy frame. That single marking puts this pistol in the rarest corner of the P210 family. The 5-series was already SIG's dedicated target gun, built around the longslide and the micrometer-adjustable rear sight, but the heavy frame examples add mass exactly where a precision shooter wants it. Fewer of these came across to the U.S. market than the standard guns, and the demand among P210 collectors has only climbed.
The layout follows the classic Neuhausen pattern. It's a single-action 9mm with the inverted slide rails that gave the P210 its reputation for accuracy, and it feeds from a single-stack magazine. The slide carries the SIGARMS Exeter NH import address on the left side, with P210 and the heavy frame line both rolled into the steel. Flip it over and the barrel reads 9 Para. Made in Switzerland sits along the right side of the slide, so you know the gun itself came out of Neuhausen even though it was imported through New Hampshire.
The walnut target grips are the wraparound competition style, deeply checkered with a thumb rest cut into the left panel. The finish is a deep matte black that runs even across the slide and frame. Up top you get the adjustable target rear paired with a serrated ramp front, and the safety lever wears the familiar S and red F markings.
It comes with a spare magazine and a hard case. For a shooter who wants to understand why the P210 earned its name, or a collector chasing the harder-to-find configurations, the heavy frame longslide is where the series reaches its highest point. This is a gun built to print one ragged hole, and it has the parts to do it.
