Mauser Parabellum Luger in 7.65mm with a 4 inch barrel, engraved and fire-blued as an IWA exhibition piece. Cased with factory test target, tools, and Mauser documentation.
Mauser built this Parabellum to stand on a table at IWA OutdoorClassics, and the moment you look closely you understand why. The engraving covers nearly every surface of the gun without ever shouting. Fine scroll runs the length of the barrel, around the receiver, across the toggle links, the side plate, the trigger guard, even the muzzle crown and the grip frame. Diamond accents and dotted border work trace the edges with a tight, controlled hand. It's restrained European cutting, the kind that follows the Luger's architecture rather than fighting it.
The finish is where this one separates from a standard commercial Parabellum. A soft satin steel surface carries the engraving, and against that muted backdrop the small parts glow in fire blue. The trigger, the safety lever, the takedown and toggle catches, the magazine release, the ejector, even the grip screws all wear that deep electric blue. The contrast reads like jewelry set into steel.
It's chambered in 7.65mm, the .30 Luger that started the platform, with the classic 4 inch barrel marked clean at the muzzle. The barrel breech carries the Mauser banner, and the grip frame is signed Mauser-Werke A.G. Oberndorf a.N. The right side of the receiver reads Made in Germany. Grips are finely checkered walnut in a warm honey tone, worn just enough at the high points to show this piece has been handled and admired.
The toggle action functions as Georg Luger drew it up, that distinctive knee-joint lockup that no other pistol shares. Worth noting: it comes cased in a fitted walnut presentation box with the takedown tool, loading tool, cleaning rod, factory test target from G. Haslberger, and the Mauser certificate. A complete exhibition Luger, dressed the way Mauser wanted the world to see it.
