The Zero Trigger is the earliest Fowler Industries product for which a dated, independent technical review has been found. In January 2019, Firearms Insider examined the company's flat-faced trigger for Gen 5 Glock pistols, noting its polished original-equipment trigger bar, reduced pre-travel, and the company's recommendation to retain original-equipment springs and connectors. [2] The product placed Fowler in the familiar late-2010s field of companies refining striker-fired pistols through replacement controls and machined components. The surviving record does not establish when the trigger was introduced or what precise commercial problem first prompted the business.

The corporate trail becomes firmer in 2020. A November trademark application identified Fowler Industries as a California limited liability company at 1985 White Rock Road in Le Grand and identified Logan Fowler as a co-owner. The filing concerned the Vanta 9 name, a move from component work and modified pistols toward a Fowler-branded handgun. In a later statement of use, the company declared first use of the Vanta 9 mark on 1 March 2020 and first use in commerce on 3 July 2021. Those are trademark-use declarations, not evidence of a public launch event, but they provide the most defensible chronology currently available.

Federal manufacturing reports show the scale and location of that transition. For 2021, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives listed Fowler Industries in Le Grand and recorded 49 9 mm pistols. [1] The 2022 and 2023 reports again recorded 49 9 mm pistols, now at 204 West 5th Street in Crane, Texas. The records therefore document a move from California to Texas by the 2022 reporting year, although they do not identify the date or reason for the relocation.

By the 2024 reporting year, ATF listed Fowler Industries at 6141 Contrary Creek Road, Suite B, Granbury, Texas, again with 49 9 mm pistols. The company's current terms identify the same Granbury address, supporting it as the present business location. The current catalog centers on the Vanta 9 in 5-inch Government and 4.25-inch Kurz configurations, a ported Vanta 9 derivative, and the 5-inch Synth and Synth Vel pistols.

For collectors, Fowler's documented significance lies in a compact production history rather than institutional adoption or a long succession of contracts. The record traces an identifiable progression from aftermarket trigger work to Fowler-marked 9 mm pistols, followed by two interstate relocations and a broader pistol catalog. No reliable evidence was found of military, law-enforcement, or government adoption; major procurement contracts; competition victories attributable to the company; patents; acquisitions; or changes in ownership.
