Staccato XC

The Staccato XC sits at the top of the 2011 platform, and it's built for shooters who want every edge they can get. This isn't a pistol you dress up after the fact. Staccato ships it ready to compete, right out of the box.

At the heart of the XC is a 5-inch island barrel with an integrated compensator. Instead of bolting a comp onto a threaded barrel, Staccato machines the entire unit as a single piece. That keeps the system tight and reliable, and it cuts muzzle rise more than most add-on compensators manage. Shooters notice it the moment they run a string of fire. The gun tracks flat, and follow-up shots come fast.

The frame is precision machined 4140 steel, mated to a polymer grip module that keeps the width down near 1.3 inches despite holding double stack 17 or 20 round magazines. That's the same trick the original 2011 design solved decades ago, and Staccato has refined it through years of competition and duty use. Every metal surface on this example wears a black DLC finish, tough enough to shrug off holster wear and the elements.

This one comes optics-ready. The slide is cut for the Staccato Tactical Optic System, with cover plates and co-witness height sights set up for the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro and Trijicon RMR footprints. Mount a red dot, and you're already sighted in for the picture Staccato designed around it. The trigger breaks clean at 2.5 pounds, about as good as a factory 1911-pattern trigger gets.

Staccato earned its reputation the hard way. The U.S. Marshals Special Operations Group adopted the 2011 platform in 2018, and Long Beach SWAT wasn't far behind. The XC takes that duty pedigree and adds the compensated barrel competition shooters have wanted for years. It's a serious tool for the range, and confident enough for home defense too.
