Fletcher Custom doesn't crank these out in bulk, and that's the first thing worth knowing about this 9mm 1911. It's a hand-built government-size gun on a Caspian Arms frame, the same forged frames that serious 1911 smiths reach for when they want a foundation that holds tight tolerances. The slide carries the Fletcher Custom rollmark, and the frame is stamped Caspian Arms, Wolcott, VT, USA. That pairing tells you exactly what you're handling.

The finish is a uniform matte black that pulls the light flat across the slide flats and the deeply cut cocking serrations. Both front and rear serrations are aggressive and squared, and the slide wears wide top flutes that break up the profile and shed a little weight. Look closely at the barrel hood and you'll see bright stainless peeking through where the chamber meets the slide, a clean contrast against all that black.

Up front is an integrated single-port compensator machined into the dust cover, sitting just ahead of a Picatinny accessory rail. So you get muzzle control and a mounting point for a light in the same package, without the bolt-on look. The grips are black G10 cut in a directional sunburst pattern, paired with a checkered mainspring housing and a knurled magazine release.
