Cosaint Arms HAVOC

The Cosaint Arms HAVOC COS21 is a double stack 2011 style pistol built by Cosaint Arms in East Flat Rock, North Carolina. This example is the Government-length model, built on a 5.0-inch bull barrel with the company's SV12 porting system cut into both the barrel and the stainless Tri Top slide. The porting is meant to reduce muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire, and Cosaint pairs it with a full-length steel dust-cover frame for a stable, front-heavy balance.

The pistol wears a Cosaint Arms aluminum grip with a Dawson magwell, along with EGW fire controls and a medium flat trigger set to roughly 3.0 pounds. It's finished in Flat Dark Earth Cerakote, one of several factory color options Cosaint offers on the HAVOC line, and the slide flats carry a contrasting satin finish. The word COS21 is stamped into the slide, matching the model family name that Cosaint uses across its double-stack lineup.

Mounted up top is a Trijicon RMR HD2 red dot, seated on the gun's C&H Precision optic plate. You can see the RMR HD markings and the 3.25 MOA reticle spec stamped on the optic housing in the photos. It's a duty-grade sight built with a forward-facing light sensor that reads the target's brightness rather than the shooter's, so the dot doesn't wash out or bloom as light conditions change.

As a modern production pistol, this HAVOC doesn't carry the kind of documented provenance you'd look for in an older or historically significant handgun. What it offers instead is a factory build sheet you can verify item by item: steel frame, stainless slide, ported barrel, and a name-brand optic, all configured the way Cosaint intended for a shooter who wants speed and control without having to hunt down an aftermarket compensator.
