Introduced for 2024, the 2.0 update replaced the original EDC X9’s two-piece frame arrangement with a solid T6-7075 aluminum X-Frame and removable, 1911-style grip panels. This 3.25-inch Subcompact is the shortest version in the line and is intended for discreet everyday carry.
The pistol shown matches that factory configuration. It has a short, railless dust cover, a bushingless stainless cone barrel with a flush reverse crown, and a Tri-Top stainless slide. X-TAC cocking cuts appear at the rear, while fine serrations run along the top rib. A bright red fiber-optic front sight pairs with a fixed rear sight carried on the factory RDS cover plate. The plate lets an owner retain iron sights in the standard setup while preserving the slide’s optic-ready format.
