Walther's Meister Manufaktur is its custom program, and the work is hand finished in Ulm, Germany. The Vintage is a Meister version of the PDP Steel Frame Match, and it's one of the most unusual-looking pistols in Walther's line.
The Vintage finish combines a Tennifer treatment with color case hardening. Each example is one of a kind because the color case hardening pattern is unique to every pistol. Paired with checkered wooden grips, it gives a modern competition pistol the look of an old-world heirloom.
Underneath, it's a full-size PDP Steel Frame Match in 9mm. The frame is all steel, which brings the weight to 41 ounces unloaded and helps keep recoil soft. The barrel is 5 inches long. Walther's Dynamic Performance Trigger has a 5-pound pull and an ultra-short reset.
The slide is optics ready with Walther's plate system, and there's a Picatinny rail on the dust cover. A flared magwell helps with reloads. The pistol measures 8.3 inches long, 5.75 inches tall and 1.4 inches wide.
Capacity is 20 rounds, and Walther includes three 20-round magazines.
