A German-built Korth PRS long-slide 1911 chambered in .45 ACP. Two-tone satin stainless slide over a black frame with a ported compensator and walnut grips.
Start at the muzzle and the Korth PRS tells you it isn't built like other 1911s. There's a ported black compensator block bolted to the front of a satin stainless slide, and that contrast sets the whole tone of the pistol. This is the 6 inch PRS in .45 ACP, built in Lollar by Korth's German gunsmiths, and it carries the kind of finish work that separates a serious target pistol from a working gun.
The slide is the centerpiece. Korth cut deep golf-ball dimpled panels into the front and rear flats, a texture you won't mistake for anyone else's. Those recessed pockets break up the long satin stainless surface and give the eye somewhere to land. Forward and rear cocking serrations frame them, and the Korth script is engraved cleanly into the flat. Down on the frame, the rollmark reads Waffenfabrik Korth Germany, and the dust cover runs out to a full-length accessory rail before meeting the black comp.
Up top sits an adjustable LPA target rear paired with a serrated post front. The trigger is a skeletonized three-hole unit, the hammer is a matching skeleton spur, and the beavertail grip safety and extended thumb safety are both finished in deep black to play against the bright slide.
Now look at the grip. The front strap and mainspring housing wear an aggressive raised pyramid checkering, almost a stippled spike pattern, that grabs hard. Against all that black metal and stainless, the hand-fit walnut panels bring warmth and a bit of grain you don't expect on a competition gun.
This one ships in its fitted Korth case with the factory paperwork, the gunsmith handmade and approval tags, and the branded accessories. For a collector chasing German Mastershop work in .45, a long-slide PRS in this two-tone dress is not a configuration you stumble across often.
