Staccato P

This Staccato P is a modern 2011 pistol chambered in 9mm. It has an optic-ready slide and standard iron sights. The supplied images show the black configuration with a stainless bull barrel visible through the ejection port. Front and rear slide serrations aid handling. A one-slot rail provides space for a light. Other visible details include ambidextrous thumb safeties, a beavertail grip safety, a skeletonized trigger, a textured polymer grip module, and a flared magwell. A green fiber-optic front sight pairs with a fixed rear sight on the removable optic cover plate. One extended magazine is pictured, but its capacity cannot be read from the photos.
The P joins the familiar single-action, hammer-fired controls of the 1911 with Staccato's modular, double-stack 2011 layout. Current factory specifications call for a 4.4-inch bull barrel and a 4140 steel frame. The model also uses a Dawson Precision tool-less recoil system. Its full-size grip and rail fit the model's duty focus. The optic cut accepts a compatible mounting plate and red-dot sight. No optic or mounting plate is shown here.
The model also marks an important point in the maker's history. STI built its name around double-stack competition pistols. It adopted the Staccato name in 2020, then placed more focus on duty and defensive use. The P became the full-size anchor of that shift. For a collector, its interest lies less in scarcity than in its role in moving the 2011 pattern from competition circles into the wider duty-pistol market.
This example's appeal is practical and tied to its design. The photographed surfaces present cleanly. Even so, the images do not establish mechanical condition, internal wear, factory originality, an exact manufacture date, or provenance. Those points need an inspection and supporting records before sale.
