Staccato C

Staccato used to be called STI, the company behind the original 2011. In 2020 it took the name of the pistol line it had launched the year before, with the same owners and staff. The C is Staccato's slim carry pistol, and it's an all-purpose gun for concealed carry, duty and home defense.

This is the base configuration. It's a single-action 9mm with a 4-inch bull barrel, offered in stainless steel or DLC. The frame is 7075 aluminum, machined from billet, which keeps the weight to about 26 ounces without an optic or magazine. The trigger breaks crisply and cleanly at 4 to 4.5 pounds.

What sets the C apart is its grip. Staccato offers it with a compact grip that holds 15 rounds or a full-size grip that holds 17. Both are slim and built for concealment, with a grip width of 1.2 inches.

The recoil system is tool-less, so field stripping doesn't need extra parts or tools. Staccato also gives the C an external extractor and a wide frame, which help reduce felt recoil.

Two magazines come with the pistol, matched to the grip you choose. The overall length is 7.6 inches with the compact grip.

The C makes sense if you want a 2011-style trigger and shooting feel in a narrow gun that disappears under a shirt. Choose the compact 15-round grip or full-size 17-round grip to match your preferred size and capacity.
