Q Honey Badger Pistol 300 Blackout

The Honey Badger name carries real weight in tactical circles, and this one earns it honestly. Q LLC built this 7-inch 300 Blackout pistol as the direct descendant of a design that began at Advanced Armament Corp under Kevin Brittingham, developed at the request of an elite special operations unit that wanted to retire its MP5-SD platform in favor of a platform chambered in a proper rifle round. That original never reached the commercial market. When Brittingham founded Q, he picked the project back up, reworked the gas system, tightened the trigger, and finally put the Honey Badger into the hands of civilian shooters.

This isn't a rifle wearing a pistol's paperwork. It's built from the ground up as a large-format AR pattern pistol, short enough to move through doorways and vehicle cabins without a fight, chambered in 300 Blackout so it doesn't give up much punch for that compactness. Seven inches of barrel keep the whole gun light and quick to swing, and 300 Blackout was practically engineered for barrels this short. Where 5.56 loses steam below ten inches, 300 BLK holds its composure, especially with heavier subsonic loads running through a suppressor.

The receiver is forged 7075 aluminum, and the clear hard-coat anodized finish is there for wear resistance, not showroom shine. Controls sit where AR shooters already expect them: ambidextrous safety, side charging handle, and a two-stage trigger built to break clean under pressure. The free-floating M-LOK handguard leaves room for lights, optics, or a foregrip, depending on how you plan to run it.

Because it ships as a pistol with a stabilizing brace instead of a shoulder stock, there's no tax stamp and no waiting on the ATF. That alone makes it one of the more accessible ways into genuine Honey Badger performance.
