The OA Defense OA 2311 Pro Elite is a full-metal, full-size pistol chambered in 9mm. It has a CNC-machined 7075 aluminum grip module and a V-ported barrel.
The OA 2311 Pro Elite is OA Defense's full-metal version of its full-size 9mm. Where the standard and Pro models use a polymer grip module, the Pro Elite uses a grip module CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum. It was refined with input from combat veterans and competition shooters.
That metal grip is the heart of the upgrade. It has aggressive texturing and interchangeable thumb ledges, which give your support hand a solid place to lock in. The extra metal also adds weight, and the Pro Elite comes in at 33 ounces unloaded. That's a few ounces more than the polymer models, and it helps settle the gun during fast shooting.
The rest of the package is well equipped. You get a cut-and-contoured slide, a V-ported 5-inch DLC-coated stainless barrel, an enhanced Pro-tuned trigger at 3.5 to 4 pounds, and an extended magazine release paddle. The controls are fully ambidextrous. OA Defense also offers a non-ported barrel if you prefer it.
Sighting uses Dawson Precision parts: a fiber optic front, a fixed rear and an optics kit for RMR-footprint red dots. Three Magpul AMAG magazines come with it, one 21-round and two 17-round.
It measures 8.5 inches long and 5.25 inches tall. Like every OA pistol, it's made in America, hand-fitted at the critical points, and test fired before it ships.
