The OA Defense OA 2311 Compact Pro Elite is a full-metal compact pistol chambered in 9mm. It has a V-ported 4.25-inch barrel and a 7075 aluminum grip module.
The OA 2311 Compact Pro Elite brings OA Defense's full-metal Elite treatment to a shorter pistol. It's meant for professional carry and long range sessions alike, and this is the ported configuration.
The barrel is 4.25 inches long, V-ported and DLC-coated stainless steel. Paired with a cut-and-contoured slide, the ports help reduce muzzle rise so you can get back on target faster. The enhanced Pro-tuned trigger breaks at 3.5 to 4 pounds.
The grip module is the same idea as on the full-size Pro Elite. It's CNC-machined from 7075 aluminum, and it was refined with input from combat veterans and competition shooters. The texture is aggressive, and the thumb ledges are interchangeable. The frame and magwell are 7075 aluminum too, so the whole pistol has a solid, all-metal feel.
Controls are fully ambidextrous, with an extended magazine release paddle. The slide takes an RMR-footprint optic using the included Dawson Precision optics kit, and Dawson also supplies the fiber optic front and fixed rear sights.
It's 7.75 inches long, 5.15 inches tall and 1.4 inches wide, and it weighs 28 ounces unloaded. OA Defense still ships it with full-size magazines, one 21-round and two 17-round Magpul AMAGs, so you don't give up capacity for the shorter slide.
Made in America and test fired before shipping, the Compact Pro Elite suits anyone who wants a metal-gripped 2311 that's a bit easier to carry. It keeps the Pro Elite's grip, trigger and controls in a slightly smaller package. For many shooters, that balance of size and shootability is exactly what they're after in a daily pistol.
