Noveske Rifleworks builds AR-pattern rifles and pistols, and its N4 line is built on the company's 4th Generation receivers. The N4 Diplomat is its most compact .300 Blackout, sold here as a braceless pistol with a 7.94-inch barrel.
.300 Blackout suits a barrel this short, especially with subsonic ammunition and a suppressor. The barrel is 416R stainless with a 1-in-7 twist and runs a pistol-length gas system, with a low profile gas block pinned to the barrel. The muzzle device works with Noveske's Pig Pen suppressor.
The upper and lower are Noveske's 4th Generation billet receivers, machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with Type III hardcoat anodizing plus Armor Black Cerakote. The upper has extended feed ramps and the Noveske Love Handle ambidextrous charging handle. The lower has an oversized flared magazine well, an oversized trigger guard, and ambidextrous bolt and magazine releases. The safety is an ambidextrous 45/90 Radian Talon.
The handguard is Noveske's Gen 4 NSR-7 M-LOK rail, with slots every 45 degrees and a Picatinny top rail. The bolt carrier is phosphate coated and full auto compatible, with a chrome-lined bore.
The trigger is Noveske's single stage unit with a 5-pound pull. The grip is a B5 Systems Type 22, the buffer is an H2 with a carbine spring, and Magpul MBUS Pro steel sights are fitted. The Diplomat measures 21.25 inches and weighs 5.3 pounds dry, and one 30-round .300 Blackout Gen 3 PMAG comes with it.
