A compact 9mm carry pistol from Laugo Arms chambered in 9x19mm, built around the same gas-delayed blowback action and low bore axis as the full-size Alien. This Standard Kit ships with fiber optic iron sights, two magazines, and a custom soft case.
Laugo Arms built its reputation on the original Alien, a competition pistol that rewrote what a low-bore-axis pistol could look like. The Alien Remus takes that same gas-delayed blowback engineering and shrinks it down for everyday carry without sacrificing the traits that made the full-size gun famous.
The Remus keeps a fixed 4-inch barrel and a non-locking slide, so cycle times stay fast, and the sights settle back on target almost before you notice them lift. Laugo claims the lowest bore axis of any production pistol, and shooting it makes that claim easy to believe. Recoil comes straight back into your hand instead of flipping the muzzle skyward.
What sets the Remus apart from the earlier Alien Creator is the Push-To-Rack system. The sight rail stays fixed to the frame rather than riding the slide, so an optic never loses zero to recoil. A small button lets you rack the slide through the rail itself, which fixes the old complaint that mounted optics got in the way of manipulating the gun. A new flapper-style manual safety sits above the grip for anyone who wants a mechanical block beyond the trigger safety.
This example is the Standard Kit: the pistol fitted with its fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight, riding in Laugo's custom soft case alongside a 15-round flush magazine and a 17-round extended magazine. The G-10 Dragon grip panels, aluminum magwell, and backstrap belong to Laugo's Creator system, so the grip can be reshaped to fit a different hand without a trip to the gunsmith. Add in the spare recoil springs, a chamber scraper, and a dry-fire training insert, and you have everything needed to run the gun straight out of the case.
Laugo builds these in small numbers in the Czech Republic, and the Remus carries the same hand-fit quality the company built its name on. It isn't a pistol built to a price point. It's built to a standard, and it looks the part from every angle.
