Korth PRS Stainless 6" .45 ACP

Korth doesn't build many of these, and the long-slide PRS in full stainless is about as uncompromised as the platform gets. The first thing you notice is the slide texturing. Korth skips conventional cocking serrations on the front panels in favor of dimpled, hobnail-style patches that catch your fingers during a press check and break up the satin flats with a different kind of light. It's a signature Korth touch, and it reads instantly across the room.

The pistol runs the 1911 architecture, but Korth reworks the whole thing to its own tolerances out of Ratzeburg. Chambered in .45 ACP, the 6-inch slide and barrel stretch the sight radius and settle the muzzle, which is the entire point of going long. The frame carries an integral accessory rail forward of the trigger guard, a generous undercut where the trigger guard meets the frontstrap, and an aggressively textured, sculpted mainspring housing that flows into the grip. Look closely at the right side of the frame and you'll find the Waffenfabrik Korth Germany rollmark, with the slide carrying the script Korth logo and the CIP N proof.

The trigger is a three-hole skeletonized aluminum unit, the beavertail is a high-sweep extended grip safety, and the controls all wear deep black against the bright satin steel. Black checkered G10 grips with carbon-fiber tone accents anchor the package and give the eye somewhere to land. That contrast is the whole look. Bright frame, dark furniture, dimpled slide panels.

It comes in the factory Korth presentation case with the safety manual, spare magazines, and accessories laid into the fitted foam. For a buyer who already knows what a Korth revolver costs, this is the pistol side of the same obsession.
