A German-built Korth PRS SD 1911 chambered in 9mm with a threaded, compensated barrel. Finished in matte black with signature dimpled slide and grip texturing and bright stainless controls.
Look at the dimpling. That's the first thing that pulls you in on this Korth PRS SD. Where most builders cut traditional checkering or aggressive directional serrations, Korth machined deep round dimples across the slide flats, the grip panels, and even the rear strap. It's a texture you don't see anywhere else, and it changes how the whole pistol reads in the hand.
This is the SD configuration, which means suppressor ready. The threaded barrel wears a stainless three-port compensator that stands out bright against the matte black slide and frame. Pull that off and you've got threads ready for a can. The slide carries the full Korth roll mark up front along with the Waffenfabrik Korth Germany address on the frame, and the chamber area is marked 9mm Luger. This is a German-built gun through and through, made in Lollar by a company better known for revolvers that cost more than most people's cars.
The layout is a 1911 at heart, but a heavily reworked one. You get a skeletonized trigger, a skeletonized hammer, an extended beavertail grip safety, and a flat mainspring housing that continues the dimple theme. The controls run in bright stainless against the black, including the slide stop, thumb safety, and magazine release. Front and rear cocking serrations are cut into the slide, with lightening cuts near the muzzle that expose the stainless barrel.
The frame carries an accessory rail for a light or laser. Sights are a blacked out rear paired with a front post, kept low and snag free.
Korth doesn't build these in volume. The 1911 platform is a relatively recent chapter for the company, and the PRS in this suppressor ready dress with the dimpled treatment is the kind of pistol you rarely see come up for sale. For a collector who already has the revolvers, this is the modern side of the same bench.
