A Korth PRS 1911 built in Germany, chambered in .45 ACP with a 6 inch barrel and integrated compensator. Cased with three magazines, factory tools, and documentation.
Korth doesn't build many of these, and once you've handled one you understand why the waiting lists run long. The PRS is the company's take on the 1911, machined in Germany at the same Lollar facility that turns out their famous revolvers, and it carries the same density and fit you'd expect from that pedigree. This one wears the 6 inch configuration in .45 ACP, with the front of the dust cover capped by an integrated compensator block that's pinned to the frame rail.
The slide carries Korth's signature dimpled cocking serration panels at the front and rear, machined as raised pyramid texture rather than the usual cut grooves. Up top sits a fully adjustable target rear sight paired with a serrated front blade, giving you a long sight radius that the 6 inch barrel earns honestly. The slide presents in a satin graphite tone while the frame runs a deeper black, and the contrast plays well against the warm figured walnut grip panels. Those panels are smooth with a bordered edge, set against a fully checkered front strap and a stippled mainspring housing.
Look closely at the frame and you'll find the Waffenfabrik Korth Germany roll mark along the dust cover, the CIP and N proof stamps, and a Picatinny accessory rail forward of the trigger guard. The trigger is a skeletonized aluminum competition unit riding in an undercut guard. Up at the rear, a beavertail grip safety, extended thumb safety, and a Commander style hammer round out the controls.
The set is complete and cased. It comes in the fitted Korth presentation box with three magazines, the factory tool and parts pouch, and the documentation. For a collector who already runs Korth revolvers and wants the pistol side of the house, this is the piece that fills the gap. Few American shops ever see one in the case.
