Korth PRS 4 Inch .45 ACP

Korth makes its name on revolvers, so a 1911 wearing the Korth roll mark already turns heads before you notice anything else. Then you catch the slide and frame texturing, and the whole pistol starts to make sense. This is the PRS in its 4 inch configuration, chambered in .45 ACP, and it carries every bit of the small batch German gunsmithing that the name promises.

Look at the dimpled panels worked into the slide and frontstrap. That rounded stippling pattern is unique to the platform, giving a tactile grip surface that reads as deliberate rather than decorative. The slide wears bold ball serrations fore and aft for press checks and racking, and the dust cover runs into an integrated accessory rail with a sculpted muzzle profile. Everywhere the satin stainless meets a machined edge, the line stays crisp.

The finish is a soft non reflective satin across slide and frame, which lets the machining do the talking. Controls run in contrasting black, the skeletonized hammer, the thumb safety, the slide stop, and the grip safety all standing out against the pale steel. You get an extended beavertail, a checkered mainspring housing, and a match trigger system that traces back to the platform's competition roots. The grips are black and gray layered G10 with a deep checkered field and a smooth diamond around each screw.

The slide carries the full Waffenfabrik Korth Germany address along the frame, with the 45 Auto and CIP proof markings on the right side. Lockup is tight in the way hand fitted guns tend to be.

It ships in the Korth presentation case with the safety manual, the branded keychain, and the factory tag signed off by the gunsmith who built it. For a collector who already owns the German revolvers, this is the other side of the house.
