The NXR is Korth's six-shot .44 Magnum, and it looks like nothing else in a revolver case. Nighthawk Custom, Korth's U.S. importer, offers it with a 4-inch or 6-inch hammer-forged barrel. This is the base 4-inch configuration.
The NXR is built to take accessories. A Picatinny rail is integrated into the frame for an optic, and the barrel housing carries its own rail for a scope or red dot. There's a second rail under the barrel for a light or other gear. The barrel housing is ventilated, which helps it cool faster during long strings of fire.
It fires in both single and double action, and the cylinder swings wide for easy reloading with Korth's newer-style release. The barrel is 416R steel and the whole revolver is finished in black DLC.
The sights are adjustable for different kinds of shooting. The rear sight is fully adjustable, and the front sight has side panels you can remove and swap. Out of the box, the NXR wears a Turkish walnut grip, which gives this very modern revolver a warm, traditional touch.
The 6-inch version is 11.65 inches long and weighs 55.3 ounces empty, and the 4-inch base model is shorter. Either way, it's a heavy, well-balanced gun, and that weight matters when you're shooting full-power .44 Magnum loads.
