Jacob Grey Hex Pro

The Hex Pro is the newest member of Jacob Grey's Hex family, introduced in early 2026. It's a refinement built on what Jacob Grey learned from the Nox 9, and the two pistols share the same grip shape.

It's a 9mm double-stack pistol with a 4.6-inch barrel. Both the slide and barrel are chunk ported, which vents gas upward to keep the muzzle from climbing. The barrel is stainless steel with a 1:10 twist and a Carbon Grey PVD coating.

The frame is machined from billet 4140 pre-hardened steel and finished in black DLC. The grip module is 7075 aluminum with a mil-spec hard-coat anodize and a hexagonal texture. Jacob Grey's Armored Billet system covers the small parts that matter most, like the hammer, sear, disconnector, extractor and safety. They're machined, hardened and coated rather than cast.

The trigger is a one-piece CNC-machined design with a 2.5 to 3 pound pull and overtravel adjustment. A 9-pound recoil spring rides on a DLC tool-less guide rod, so takedown doesn't need tools. The safety is ambidextrous.

It measures 8.5 inches long and weighs 36.5 ounces unloaded without a magazine. The slide takes an RMR-footprint plate, though sights and optics aren't included. Two 17-round steel magazines come with it.

Jacob Grey is based in Prosperity, South Carolina, and sells the Hex Pro mostly through its dealers. It's a good fit if you want the Nox family's feel in a slightly shorter, ported gun. The price also sits below the Nox 9, which makes the Hex Pro an easier way into Jacob Grey's lineup.
