A limited-drop Infinity Firearms Pinnacle P built on the 2011 platform, with a 4.5-inch barrel and a factory-mounted Trijicon SRO. Finished in black DLC, silver CRN, and polished TiN gold over a full 4340 billet steel build.
The Pinnacle P is one of Infinity Firearms' limited-drop releases, sold in small batches through the company's GunBuilder platform, which tends to sell out quickly. Infinity, built by the Strayer-Voigt shop in Texas, has spent decades machining nearly every part of its 2011 pistols in-house, right down to the double-stack magazines. That's a level of control few custom shops attempt. The result is a platform that retains the 1911's trigger feel and grip angle while swapping in a double-stack magazine body, so you get more capacity without losing what made the original design so good.
This example uses a 4.5-inch barrel and a factory-mounted Trijicon SRO, which is buried directly into the slide rather than bolted to a raised plate. That keeps the optic low and locked to the barrel's line, which matters when you're trying to call fast shots. The finish is where this gun really shows off. Black DLC covers the frame; the slide runs in a metallic silver CRN; and polished TiN gold accents the trigger, magwell, and barrel. It's a loud combination, and it's meant to be. Infinity built its name partly on pistols that look as sharp as they shoot, and this one leans all the way into that.
Under the finish sits a full 4340 billet steel build, the same alloy family used in demanding tool and aerospace parts, chosen here for strength and wear resistance over the long haul. Every Infinity pistol is built to order, so no two drops look quite alike, and a sold-out release like this one won't come back in the same configuration again. For a collector after a modern custom 2011 with real presence, this one checks the boxes on both looks and pedigree.
