A cased Delta AR TG 15 S target pistol chambered in .40 S&W, built in Italy during the 1990s. Two-tone finish, adjustable sights, and checkered walnut grips with full factory accessories.
Most collectors have never handled a Delta AR pistol, and that's exactly what makes this one worth a long look. Delta AR S.R.L. of Italy built these in small numbers during the 1990s, and the TG 15 S sat at the sporting end of their catalog. This example is chambered in .40 S&W, and the slide carries the Made In Italy roll mark alongside the Mod. TG 15 S designation. The catalog number stamped on the dust cover ties it to the factory's own listing.
The whole thing reads like a competition pistol that wanted to dress up. The slide wears a two-tone treatment, with polished satin flats running against matte contours, and deep vertical serrations cut into the rear for a positive grip. Up top sits a fully adjustable rear sight marked for windage and elevation, paired with a long sight radius that suits target work. The frame shows the same satin finish, contoured to drop the hand into a natural firing position.
The grips are finely checkered walnut with a palm swell and a smooth thumb rest panel. They warm up the otherwise industrial palette and fill the hand well. Controls run to a slide-mounted style layout with a serrated takedown lever and an extended thumb safety, all finished in deep blue that contrasts against the lighter frame.
Worth noting: the package is complete. It comes in the original Delta AR fitted case with the houndstooth lining, a second magazine, the factory handbook on CD, and the takedown tool. Finding a TG 15 S at all takes patience. Finding one cased and complete with its accessories is a different matter. For a collector chasing the obscure corners of Italian pistol making, this is a hard one to walk past.
