The CZ Shadow 2 Target is a 9mm target pistol designed for bullseye shooting. It has a fully adjustable single-action trigger and an LPA adjustable rear sight.
The CZ Shadow 2 has a strong competition record, and Shadow 2 pistols have won several IPSC World Championship titles in the Production division. The Shadow 2 Target builds on that platform for precision shooting. It's expressly designed for bullseye shooting.
CZ announced the Shadow 2 Target in November 2024 with 5-inch and 6-inch barrel options. This is the 5-inch version in 9mm.
The trigger is the headline feature. It's single action only, and it adjusts for take-up, overtravel and pull weight. The trigger shoe also adjusts for position. Pull weight adjusts from roughly 1.1 to 4.5 pounds, so the setting can be tuned to the shooter.
The barrel is cold hammer forged with a protective crown, and CZ covers it with a lifetime barrel warranty. The sights are built for target work, with an LPA fully adjustable rear. The dust cover is drilled and tapped for added front weights, and the trigger guard has a larger undercut for a higher grip. CZ also reworked the controls and slide serrations for more comfortable handling.
The grips are G10, and the pistol has a bilateral safety lever. It weighs about 46.5 ounces, and the magazines hold 17 rounds. Three magazines are included.
