Compact double-stack 1911-pattern pistol in 9mm with a 3.25-inch compensated barrel and factory-mounted Holosun 407K X2 red dot. Built in Israel on BUL's SAS II platform with a polymer grip module and co-witnessing fiber optic irons.
Most compensated 1911s ask you to give up something. Size, weight, or carry comfort. This BUL Armory SAS II Ultralight Comp doesn't really do that, and that's what makes it worth a closer look. It packs a true compensated barrel system into a short 3.25 inch package, then keeps the weight down with a polymer double-stack frame. You get the recoil management of a competition gun in something that still rides comfortably on the belt.
The pistol runs on BUL's SAS II architecture, a double-stack 2011-style platform chambered in 9mm. The barrel wears the compensator inline with the slide, and the front of the slide carries the UL COMP 3.25 marking right where you can see it. Aggressive front and rear cocking serrations cut deep into the black slide. The grip module shows BUL's pyramid texturing across the front strap, side panels, and backstrap, which locks the hand in without chewing it up. Up front you'll find a fiber optic front sight paired with a serrated tactical rear.
Up top sits a factory-mounted Holosun 407K X2, a closed-emitter compact red dot with a 6 MOA dot and the shake-awake feature Holosun is known for. It sits low over the slide and clears the rear sight cleanly. The frame is roll-marked BUL ARMORY, MIAMI, FL on the dust cover, with MADE IN ISRAEL on the underside. There's a short accessory rail forward of the trigger guard for a light.
The gun comes complete in its BUL Armory zippered range case with the owner's manual, a spare magazine, cleaning brushes, takedown tools, optic mounting hardware, and the original factory box. The finish is clean throughout with only minor handling marks. For a shooter who wants a flat-shooting carry comp that's already cut for an optic, this one is ready to run out of the case.
