Korth PRS 1911 in .45 ACP with a 4.25 inch bull barrel and Damascus steel slide flats. German-built with Korth's signature domed dimple texturing and skeletonized controls.
Look closely at the slide flats and you'll find Damascus steel under the black, the swirled pattern showing through the ejection port and along the lightening cuts. That's the detail that separates a Korth PRS from the field of premium 1911s. This is Waffenfabrik Korth's take on John Browning's pistol, built in Germany to the same obsessive standard the company applies to its revolvers, and it wears that pedigree openly.
The 4.25 inch barrel puts it in Commander territory, a touch faster on target than a full Government length while keeping nearly all the sight radius. The bull barrel shows a polished crown at the muzzle, and the dust cover carries an integral accessory rail for a light or laser. Korth machined the slide with a domed dimple pattern at the front and rear in place of conventional serrations, a texture that repeats across the grip panels and the front strap. It's distinctive work, and it gives the hand a positive lock without the bite of aggressive checkering.
The controls run black to match the slide and frame, with the trigger, mag release, and grip screws left bright for contrast. The skeletonized trigger, the B-cut hammer, and the matching cuts in the trigger guard all carry the Korth identity. A beavertail grip safety and extended thumb safety round out the carry-ready layout. The frame is roll marked Waffenfabrik Korth Germany along the dust cover.
This one ships in the factory Korth hard case with the original safety manual and a spare magazine. Korth's American import runs in small numbers, and the PRS in this finish and barrel length is not a gun you trip over at the average shop. For a collector who already has the German revolvers and wants the pistol that shares the bench, this is the piece that completes the shelf.
