BG Defense EG-117 Glock 17 Custom Pistol

BG Defense builds the EG-117 on a full-size Glock 17 chassis. It is a modern custom pistol in 9mm. The basic form is easy to recognize. The parts and finish set it apart.

The slide is cut from 17-4 PH stainless steel. BG Defense uses its TYPE-A checkered pattern on the front and rear. This gives the slide a bold, even look and more surface to grasp. The top is cut for RMR/SRO-pattern sights. No red dot is shown in either photo.

A hand-fit 5-inch match barrel sits inside the slide. BG Defense lists 416R stainless steel for the barrel and 1/2x28 muzzle threads. Both photos show the thread protector. The steel parts have a black nitride base and a Cerakote topcoat. The black frame, slide, barrel, and small parts give the pistol a clean, matched look.

The builder also fits a TYPE-A trigger shoe and a polished trigger bar. A wide, removable magwell frames the base of the grip. The shown magazine has a Lead Faucet Tactical +2 extension. BG Defense rates the setup as 17+2 rounds. Fixed iron sights are also present. No light or other rail gear is shown.

The photos show two grip choices. One has deep stippling on the grip and frame ledges. The other keeps the Glock factory-style grip texture. A buyer should confirm which version is offered before the page goes live.

The Glock 17 began in the early 1980s as a polymer-frame service pistol with the Safe Action system. That base has clear importance in modern pistol design. This EG-117 is different. Its appeal comes from the current custom work, not from its age, rarity, or known history. No papers were supplied to prove a build date or past owner. The photos also can’t prove how the gun works or what is inside. What they do show is a well-matched set of custom parts with a strong visual theme.
