Description
Created as a commemorative tribute to the 1984 IWA OutdoorClassics exhibition in Germany, this Mauser P08 brings together the classic Luger form with exhibition-style presentation. Chambered in 7.65mm Parabellum, it follows the familiar European commercial configuration associated with the platform’s early heritage.
Traditional Germanic scroll engraving extends across the receiver, side plate, trigger guard, and barrel, with balanced coverage that highlights both the ornamentation and the satin steel finish beneath. The barrel carries continuous scrollwork toward the muzzle, while the overall contrast is enhanced by fire-blued or strawed controls, levers, and accents set against the matte silver-steel base.
Smooth ivory-tone grips with inset oval escutcheons add a distinctive presentation detail, complemented by a shaped wooden magazine base at the heel. The result is a refined mix of steel, warm-toned accents, and light grip panels that gives the pistol a striking visual character.
The pistol is accompanied by a fitted Mauser presentation case with a burgundy velvet interior and Mauser-marked lid. Also included is the original Anschuss test target, completing a well-appointed factory presentation ensemble.
