Description

This DWM John Martz Navy MSTR Configuration Luger is a custom Parabellum built with a combination of newly manufactured and extensively modified original Luger components. Closely patterned after the Second Model Commercial Navy Luger, it reflects the long-barreled Navy profile and the distinctive mechanical approach associated with John Martz’s work.

The pistol features a 6-inch barrel, a fixed blade front sight, and a two-position tangent rear sight adjustable from 100 to 200 meters. A blank chamber gives the top end a clean appearance, while the “DWM” monogram on the front toggle link and the crown/N proof on the left side of the barrel extension remain in keeping with its commercial-style presentation.

A defining feature is the Martz Toggle Release, or MSTR, system. This frame-mounted release allows the toggle assembly to be dropped and cycled with greater ease than the standard arrangement. The left side of the frame is marked “MSTR” and bears Martz’s oval “JVM” stamp.

The pistol is finished in traditional blue with small strung parts and fitted with unmarked replacement checkered hardwood grips. It is accompanied by one nickel-finished magazine with a concentric-ring walnut base stamped with the “JVM” oval, plus an additional nickel-finished magazine with a plastic base.

Also included is a hardwood Macanudo “Number XX” cigar box that has been converted into a fitted display case for the pistol and a spare magazine, completing a distinctive presentation.
