Description
The Prohibition by Korth is a one-of-a-kind engraved revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, created around the imagery and tension of America’s Prohibition era.
The engraving presents a continuous narrative across the frame, barrel, cylinder, and grips, with figures drawn from both sides of the period’s conflict: lawmen, federal agents, bootleggers, and underworld figures. Rather than isolated decorative scenes, the design unfolds as a connected composition, using city architecture, environmental detail, and carefully placed visual cues to carry the story across the revolver’s surfaces.
Gold inlaid text and select highlights are used with restraint, while period-inspired lettering, badges, and other fine details contribute to the overall theme. The wooden grips continue the visual storytelling beyond the steel, adding warmth and contrast to the engraved metalwork.
Built on Korth’s revolver platform, The Prohibition retains its foundation as a functional .357 Magnum revolver while pairing that mechanical platform with extensive engraving and decorative detail.
Presented as a true one-of-one, this piece stands apart for its singular execution, narrative approach, and historically focused design.
