Description
This Smith & Wesson Model 66-1 is a stainless-steel K-frame revolver chambered in .357 Magnum and embellished with hand engraving by Ray Viramontez. The engraved work extends across nearly every exposed steel surface, with flowing scrollwork that adds depth and movement to the barrel, frame, and cylinder.
Gold inlaid wildlife motifs provide a bold contrast against the engraved steel, including an eagle in flight, stag, rabbit, and wolf. The cylinder is further detailed with engraved panels accented by gold bands, and the decorative treatment continues through smaller elements including the trigger guard and frame edges.
Ivory-tone grips complete the presentation, offering warm contrast to the stainless steel and gold inlays. The revolver retains the hallmark features of the Model 66-1 platform, including its K-frame configuration, adjustable rear sight, full-length barrel, and traditional double-action mechanism.
Combining the classic lines of the Smith & Wesson Model 66-1 with detailed engraving and gold inlay, this piece brings together functional design and decorative craftsmanship in a highly distinctive presentation.
