Description
The SIG Sauer P210 Legend Prototype captures an important stage in the evolution of one of SIG’s most recognized pistol designs. Developed during the transition from the Swiss-made P210 series to the later German-produced P210 Legend, this prototype reflects the effort to carry forward the platform’s established design character while introducing measured refinements.
Chambered in 9mm, it features the classic single-action system and the internal slide rail arrangement closely associated with the P210 design. The steel frame and slide are paired with checkered walnut grips, while the extended beavertail and revised frame geometry reflect the updates incorporated during the Legend program.
Visually, the pistol retains the restrained lines that have long defined the model. A deep finish, precise machining, and traditional materials give it a distinctly purposeful presentation, balancing the familiar look of earlier P210 pistols with the details that mark this developmental example apart.
As a prototype, it represents part of the development path between the final Swiss-produced P210-6 pistols and the production P210 Legend series manufactured in Germany. For collectors and enthusiasts of SIG Sauer handguns, it offers a direct connection to that transition in the model’s modern history.
