Description

This Smith & Wesson Model 53, chambered in .22 Jet, is engraved by Russel J. Smith and accompanied by auxiliary cylinders for .22 Magnum and .22 LR.

The revolver features a deep blue finish with detailed scroll engraving across the frame, cylinder, and barrel, accented by gold inlays. Bicentennial-themed details include “1776–1976” on the barrel, a gold Statue of Liberty motif, a sailing ship on the opposite side, and a gold “76” on the grip frame set against a textured black panel.

Also included are original design drawings and handwritten notes related to the engraving concept, along with a fitted presentation case lined in red velvet. Beautifully figured wooden grips complete the presentation.
